If you want to help the small birds through the winter – you can feed them, and preferably all year round. Remember squirrels and hedgehogs too. Spend some time preparing a suitable feeding place. The birds are vulnerable to both the neighbor's cat and larger birds of prey. This means that the feeding place must be secured against both ground and air attacks.
